Where to find settings

After activating Pro, open:

Settings → WPEnhanced Ajax Filter Blocks

Free and Pro options may appear on the same screen—Pro sections are labeled or grouped separately. Exact labels vary slightly by version.

Block-level Pro features (conditional logic, load more, appearances) are configured on Archive Loop, Filter Posts, and Filter Posts Item blocks in the editor—not only in global settings.

Common Pro global settings

AreaPurpose
LicenseActivate or refresh Pro license key
Catalog IndexEnable index and rebuild tools — see Catalog Index
PerformanceDefaults affecting AJAX caching and count behavior
IntegrationsACF, WooCommerce, or third-party toggles when present
DefaultsSite-wide defaults for URL sync, debounce, or mobile behavior

Review each tab after installing Pro; leave defaults until you identify a specific need.

  1. Enter license key — Confirm Pro features unlock in the block editor.
  2. Large WooCommerce store — Enable Catalog Index and rebuild.
  3. Staging test — Open an existing filter page; verify no regressions before changing global defaults.
  4. Caching — Align with Caching and performance so Pro optimizations are not negated by full-page cache.

Settings vs block settings

General WPEnhanced Ajax Filter Blocks settings (non-Pro) are documented under Settings. Pro extends but does not replace those pages.
